The villa settlement “Grand Monastery - Pamporovo” is situated in the area “Karamandzha” in the resort of Pamporovo, below one of the ski slopes of the complex. The settlement has a SPA centre, massage rooms, solarium, sauna, tangentor, vapourbath, dressing rooms, recreation rooms, showers, consulting rooms, a swimming pool 8/20m with its serving rooms, fitness halls, bowling with 4 tracks and a ski cloak room. The villa settlement has a lot of shops and other business areas, catering establishments, a night bar, 3 lobby bars, a Vienna sweet shop for 75 people, a tea shop. An attractive panorama restaurant for more than 100 people with a sky bar for 30 people has “perched” on the highest point of the settlement. Company offices, a conference hall for 104 people and internet club have been planned. “Grand Monastery” has a chapel which is perfectly added to the architectural image of the settlement.

The alley network has been developed into free picturesque shapes according to the relief of the terrain. The inner spaces will be buried in greenery in combination with colorful compositions and attractive rock-gardens.

The combination of mountain air, the absence of industrial enterprises, the proximity of the town of Smolyan, the convenient communications, the abilities for rural, hunting, fishing, wine, forest and ski tourism make this place unique.

The village is situated in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in the Foothills of the Rodope Mountains on the banks of the Umishka River, and is close to the towns of Peshtera and Krichim. The Antique Theatre is one of the most famous monuments in Bulgaria. It was built in the beginning of the 2nd century during the reign of the Roman Emperor Trajan. It is situated in the natural saddle between the Dzhambaz Tepe and Taksim Tepe hills. It is divided into two parts with 14 rows each divided with a horizontal lane. The theatre could accommodate 3,500 people. The three-storey scene is located on the southern part and is decorated with frezes, cornices and statues. The theatre was studied, conserved and restored between 1968 and 1984. Many events are still held on the scene including the Verdi festival and the International Folklore festival.
