Agent's Description

This charming rustic property is situated in a small and very peaceful village at a distance of 55 km away from the town of Plovdiv and just 10 km away from another smaller town called Parvomay. The village benefits from being close to the highway to Turkey (3 km) and the distance to the Black Sea Coast is within two hours drive.

The property consists of a two-storey house with a total living area of 80 sq.m, a small but pretty garden vast 450 sq.m , one big agricultural outbuilding as well as a parking place for two cars.

The ground floor comprises of two good sized rooms and a cellar (20 sq. m.). The rooms have wooden flooring and the floor in the cellar is earth. An external staircase will lead you to the first floor where two well-sized rooms and a corridor are nicely arranged. Currently the garden is planted with several fruit trees but it is in need of maintaining. It is comparatively small so it will be really easy for maintenance. The house, which is built of sun-dried and red bricks, needs certain repairs to become a nice and comfortable place for living. Also it is recommendable to be made an internal bathroom/WC instead of the outer one which is currently attached to the house. The property is supplied with electricity, running water (inside) and is connected to the main sewerage system.

The village is very peaceful and tranquil. In close proximity to the village is situated a very beautiful dam lake “Ezerovo” which attracts many people fond of fishing and hunting. The village also offers several food shops, a café, a health service and a regular bus transport to the others towns and villages.

Bratsigovo

Bratsigovo

The village is situated in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in the Foothills of the Rodope Mountains on the banks of the Umishka River, and is close to the towns of Peshtera and Krichim. Historical records show the township was established at some point in the 16th century, built over the ruins of an earlier settlement. Archaeological evidence has shown that the area was inhabited by Thracians and later Slavs. The town is developing as a balneological center, too. There is a cold mineral water spring (18-26 C) with the flow rate of 120 litres per minute at the distance of 500 metres west of it. There is a balneo-sanatorium built up here. The mineral water treats some skin diseases, the nervous system, kidney related diseases and others. There is a nice park and a country-houses zone around it.

The Antique Teatre in Plovdiv

The Antique Teatre in Plovdiv

The Antique Theatre is one of the most famous monuments in Bulgaria. It was built in the beginning of the 2nd century during the reign of the Roman Emperor Trajan. It is situated in the natural saddle between the Dzhambaz Tepe and Taksim Tepe hills. It is divided into two parts with 14 rows each divided with a horizontal lane. The theatre could accommodate 3,500 people. The three-storey scene is located on the southern part and is decorated with frezes, cornices and statues. The theatre was studied, conserved and restored between 1968 and 1984. Many events are still held on the scene including the Verdi festival and the International Folklore festival.

The old town in Plovdiv

The old town in Plovdiv

Currently, Plovdiv is a modern city with an ancient spirit and charm, emanating from its numerous remains of old times. No doubt the biggest sight of Plovdiv is The Old Town. The Old Town is declared an archaeological reserve and covers the three-hill area where the town was located originally. Almost all historical sights of Plovdiv can be found there – religious sanctuaries, old residential and public buildings, archeological monuments and museums, fortress walls and narrow cobbled streets.
