Agent's Description

If you are in process of searching for your new home in Bulgaria, then this offer might be very suitable for you. This rural property is set in a nice village, only at 27 km distance from the second biggest town in Bulgaria, the town of Plovdiv.

The property briefly consists of two storied house with total living area 140 sq. m, a parking lot, an outbuilding and a nice garden vast 1470 sq.m. On the ground floor you can find an entrance, two rooms and a closet. The external staircase leads to the upper floor where a corridor, four rooms and a closet are nicely disposed. The house is in basic overall condition. It is built of sun-dried bricks, the flooring and the joinery of all rooms are wooden. There is no need of some major repairs, it should be refreshed and modernized and we also recommend you to make an internal bathroom/WC because currently there is no bathroom and the toilet is an external one.

The garden is big enough (1470 sq.m) and now it is planted with several fruit trees. There is also a well, which helps for the irrigation. The yard is not very well-maintained but it has a big potential to be turned into a lovely place for rest and relaxation.

The village itself offers facilities like shops, a café, a church, a health service and regular bus transport to the towns and the villages in the vicinity. The region here gives good opportunities for fishing and hunting. So think about the chance to possess a small part in Bulgaria and be surrounded by the beautiful nature and wonderful views.

Bratsigovo

Bratsigovo

The village is situated in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in the Foothills of the Rodope Mountains on the banks of the Umishka River, and is close to the towns of Peshtera and Krichim. Historical records show the township was established at some point in the 16th century, built over the ruins of an earlier settlement. Archaeological evidence has shown that the area was inhabited by Thracians and later Slavs. The town is developing as a balneological center, too. There is a cold mineral water spring (18-26 C) with the flow rate of 120 litres per minute at the distance of 500 metres west of it. There is a balneo-sanatorium built up here. The mineral water treats some skin diseases, the nervous system, kidney related diseases and others. There is a nice park and a country-houses zone around it.

The Antique Teatre in Plovdiv

The Antique Teatre in Plovdiv

The Antique Theatre is one of the most famous monuments in Bulgaria. It was built in the beginning of the 2nd century during the reign of the Roman Emperor Trajan. It is situated in the natural saddle between the Dzhambaz Tepe and Taksim Tepe hills. It is divided into two parts with 14 rows each divided with a horizontal lane. The theatre could accommodate 3,500 people. The three-storey scene is located on the southern part and is decorated with frezes, cornices and statues. The theatre was studied, conserved and restored between 1968 and 1984. Many events are still held on the scene including the Verdi festival and the International Folklore festival.

The old town in Plovdiv

The old town in Plovdiv

Currently, Plovdiv is a modern city with an ancient spirit and charm, emanating from its numerous remains of old times. No doubt the biggest sight of Plovdiv is The Old Town. The Old Town is declared an archaeological reserve and covers the three-hill area where the town was located originally. Almost all historical sights of Plovdiv can be found there – religious sanctuaries, old residential and public buildings, archeological monuments and museums, fortress walls and narrow cobbled streets.
