The village of Chervenakovo is situated on top of a hill overlooking the valley of the Tundza River and the slopes of the mountain. About ten minutes to the west is the second biggest dam in Bulgaria, Zhrebchevo. It is 38 km long with crystal clear water and is a popular place for fishing, swimming, sunbathing, camping and picnics. Two of the main highways connecting Sofia and Bourgas are only 5 km away from Chervenakovo, and provide convenient access to all points in Bulgaria. About 50 km to the north is the Chumerna peak in the Balkan Mountains – a newly developed ski resort (ideal for those winter holidays), which is becoming more and more popular. There are more than 10 healing mineral springs in the area, the closest one is only 5 minutes away from the development.
