Agent's Description
"Arena" is situated in south regulation extension of Saint Vlas. It is one of the largest living structures in the area.
The settlement has a key position among the nearest structures. It is connected to the yacht port Marina Dinevi-Saint Vlas, which has a capacity of over 300 yachts.
The plot is situated on an existing gully and has a steep slope to the south. It is situated between 4 and 40 horizontal above the sea level. The plot is situated below the main road, passing through Saint Vlas, in the direction of the villa settlement “Elenite”. A technical solution has been found to lead the rain waters out of the area, preserving the natural drain-pipe below the road in the lowest part of the gully. The rain waters will be collected in tanks, which will be used to settle the waters down.
The urbanity model has been set using free architectural spaces of different storeys, situated around green inner spaces with rock-gardens. Public establishments, serving the settlement, are situated in the middle part.
The structure, intended for living, consists of 12 buildings- 6 in the south and 6 in the north part of the settlement. There are 197 apartments of 22 to 193 sq.m., structured as one, two, three, four and five- room apartments and maisonette types. Some of the apartments have been designed as studios with attached saunas, stores and other subsidiary premises. The living rooms (one or more bedrooms in some apartments) have been designed so that they have a view to the seа.
The buildings from 1 to 6 are situated in the south part of the settlement, near the sea and they are of 4-5 floors; those ones from 9 to 14 are situated in the upper part and they are of 2-3 floors, except building 14, which is of 4-5 floors.
Premises for guards, reception clerks and manager of the settlement, attendant’ offices, drying rooms, stores, premises for machines and electric installation have been designed in buildings 1 and 2.
Тhe apartments in building 1 are 43- 7 one- room apartments and studios of 22 to 71 sq.m. , 22 two- room apartments of 41 to 61 sq.m. , 13 three- room apartments of 83 to 110 sq.m. and one five- room maisonette type of 138 sq.m.
The public centre which is situated in the middle of the settlement is defined as building 7 and it has an open amphitheatre, SPA centre, fitness centre, disco, supermarket, a centre for children, an observatory, as well as their subsidiary and store premises.
Just above the public establishment, a church will be built. It will have a choir and crypt, defined as building 8.
Between the Public establishment and the crypt of the church a line of shops will be built- boutiques, church shops, book shop and newsagent’ s. Because of the fact that this passage will be built under the ground, lightning of the glass domes will be necessary.
The settlement has 75 parking places, situated in its upper part. All the settlement is buried in greenery. Some exotic trees will be planted and this will turn the settlement into a more exotic and cozy one. Attractive rock- gardens and flower compositions will be set in some parts of the settlement. The water surfaces will give a cosy and unique aspect of the complex.
Developing the living structures and spaces, the designer has tried to reproduce the atmosphere of the Old Bulgarian architecture. The characteristic of the period large terraces above the first floor, narrow windows, large eaves, bay windows towards the street and the yard, high stone walls and domes, wooden gates, parapets and stairs have been followed while structuring the architectural image of the settlement.Тhe living buildings of many storeys have been “broken up” by using different materials, roofs at different levels, white plaster, breaking of the configuration, alternating battered and projected spaces and other architectural devices, which give to the architectural composition multi-palnning characteristic of the Old Bulgarian architecture.
Because of its length (335 m.), the settlement “Arena” is divided in two parts. The apartment is in building six. It has pool view and is very quiet and cosy.

The Pomorie monastery, named after St. Georgi the Victorious, is located in the seaside town of Pomorie, some 20km to the north of Bourgas. The monastery is very hospitable and offers accommodation following prior consultation with the father superior, Yerotey. Father Yerotey speaks English and German and is always glad to show the monastery’s guests around. The monastery is easy to reach by car or by a regular bus from Bourgas.
Sozopol
Sozopol is situated 34 km south of Bulgaria’s coastal city Bourgas on a narrow rocky peninsula, jutting into the Black Sea. Originally founded in 610 by Miletian Greeks and first called Apollonia, this is probably the oldest, and certainly the most fascinating Bulgarian coastal town. Today this charming place is a sedate fishing village for much of the year. However Sozopol springs to life in the peak summer season - July and August - becoming a busy beach resort loved by local families and international holiday visitors. Sozopol has two sandy beaches, an ambient old town with distinctive 19th-century stone and wooden buildings, and a thriving new town, offering family accommodation, shops and amenities.
Malko Tarnovo
Natural Park “Strandja” and the town of Malko Tarnovo offer all visitors, tourists and participants in natural, ecological, ethnographical or archaeological expeditions, the opportunity to experience something unforgettable. The hilly relief of the mountain and the entire network of well maintained tourist paths are a good precondition for hiking tourism. The cool summer, the warm and continuous autumn, the comparatively small number of cloudy days, the lack of substantial temperature anomalies, favor the development of tourism through out most of the year.
Nessebar
The town of Nessebar is one of the oldest towns in Europe. It is the successor of the ancient Thracian settlement called Mesambria founded in the Second century AD. Its name means town of Melsa. Since 510 AD it was turned into Greek colony town by Dorian settlers. They called it Mesambria. There was a theatre and a temple of the Greek God Apollo in it. Brass and silver money were coined there, and in the third century AD - golden ones. It was occupied in 72 AD by a Roman garrison. It started to play important role again in III-IV century. In the year 812 Khan Krum conquered the town. In 864 Boris I yielded the possession of the town to Byzantine, but King Simeon captured it again. Since XI century the Slav name Messebar or Nessebar has been used together with the original name Mesambria. The churches in Nessebar are 41. Not all of them have preserved their full brilliance but even their present condition strongly impresses tourists. One of the oldest sights is the Basilica situated on the seashore, built probably at the beginning of 5 th century.
Bourgas Lakes
The Burgas Lakes (Bulgarian: Бургаски езера, Burgaski ezera) or Burgas Wetlands (Бургаски влажни зони, Burgaski vlazhni zoni) are a group of coastal lakes of varying saltiness located around the Bulgarian city of Burgas in the proximity of the Black Sea. They constitute the largest group of lakes in the country and comprise some of Bulgaria's biggest and most important lakes. The lakes' total area (including swamps, marshes, ponds and other reservoirs) amounts to 95 km², of which 33.30 km² are either proclaimed or proposed protected areas that are inhabited by a large number of locally or globally endangered species of birds, fish and mammals. Apart from this, the Burgas Lakes are also of economic importance, used to obtain sea salt and curative mud, as well as to supply the local economy with fresh water, in the case of Lake Mandrensko.
Veleka river
The Veleka (Bulgarian: Велека) is a river in the very southeast of Bulgaria (Burgas Province), as well as the very northeast of European Turkey. It is 147 km long, of which 123 km in Bulgaria and 25 km in Turkey. The waters of the Veleka flow into the Black Sea at the Bulgarian village of Sinemorets and are rich in flora and fauna, with more than 30 species of freshwater fish being present, the most frequent one being the chub. Five endangered animal species inhabit the river, as well as important regional plants.
Ancient Beehive Tomb near Pomorie
The antique beehive tomb near Pomorie city (situated on the coast of the Black Sea) is a cultural monument of national and world significance. It was built back in II – III century and represents an original combination of a typical Thracian beehive tomb and a Roman mausoleum (specialists believe it served as something like mausoleum of a rich Anhiali family). It is located among gardens – some 500 m north of the Europe camping area. It reaches 8 m in height and 60 m in diameter. A corridor leads to a vast round premises, in the centre of which a hollow pillar is rising, opening in its upper end like a mushroom passing into the walls. (therefore some people call the tomb “The Hollow Mound”). The monument is open for visitors in the summer season.
Aquapark, Sunny Beach
The Bulgarian action aquapark is located on an area of 24 000 m2 in the western part of Sunny Beach. Action Aquapark is one of the most amusing, inspiring and emotional location on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. There You will forget the everyday concerns and loose your energy, which will take you to the world of adventures, games and extreme experience. Action Aquapark offers water attractions for each taste and age.
