Agent's Description
Solid brick build two-storey house with 1000 sq. m. of land situated in a peaceful village in Veliko Tarnovo region. The village is only 5 miles from its Municipality centre – the town of Polski Trambesh and 17 miles from the Old Bulgarian Capital – Veliko Tarnovo City. The house is completely renovated and left to a stage where only the inside decoration have to be done, but this is a great opportunity for making the house your dream home! It was build with bricks and concrete slabs between the floors (not as most of the houses with wooden joists), which makes it easier completing it and gives lots of opportunities – an under-floor heating could be installed and tiles fitted on top; or anything that would suit your needs. All walls were plastered; a new electrical and drainage installation – done! The first floor consists of two bedrooms, bathroom, toilet and a passage, connected with the garage as well. The second floor offers another two bedrooms, big living room, kitchen, bathroom and a toilet, and two balconies. The property is with inside concrete stairs from the first floor to the roof. The roof could be converted into living area as well. The roof was constructed in a way that a third floor to be build. There is a premise under the stairs leading to the second floor suitable for utility room (water and electricity supplied). The house has lots of potential and does not need much work to become a lovely place for living. The yard spreads over 1000 sq. m. of regulated plot of land and it has been always kept well. There is enough space for making a swimming pool and a BBQ area.

Architectural-historical reserve "Tsarevets"
Tsarevets is a mediaeval stronghold located on a hill in Veliko Tarnovo. It served as the Second Bulgarian Empire's primary fortress and strongest bulwark from 1185 to 1393, housing the royal and the patriarchal palaces, and is a popular tourist attraction The earliest evidence of human presence on the hill dates from the 2nd millennium BC. It was settled in the 4th century and a Byzantine fortress was constructed near the end of the 5th century, on the grounds of which the construction of the Bulgarian stronghold was begun in 12th century. After the Vlach-Bulgarian Rebellion and the establishment of the Second Bulgarian Empire with its capital in Veliko Tarnovo, the fortress became the most important one in Bulgaria, often compared with Rome and Constantinopole in magnificence. In 1393, the stronghold was besieged by Ottoman forces for three months before finally being conquered and burnt down on 17 July, which marked the fall of the Bulgarian Empire.
The restoration of the complex began in 1930, when the first of the three gates of the main entrance to the fortress was reconstructed.
The “Sound and Light” audiovisual show is an attraction carried out in the evening that uses three lasers, variegated lights, dramatic music and church bells to tell the story of the fall of Tarnovo to the Ottomans, as well as other key moments of the history of Bulgaria. The large-scale show has been organized at Tsarevets since 1985, when the 800-year anniversary of the Uprising of Asen and Petar was celebrated.
