Agent's Description

This charming house is nestled in the skirts of the beautiful Rodopi mountain. The village in which the property is located is 32 km. away from a nice and picturesque town, as well as it is at the distance of 50 km. away from the biggest town in south Bulgaria – Plovdiv (a lovely modern and historic city which is the cultural capital of the country). The property consists of a house with living area of 110 sq.m., nicely distributed between two floors, a garden spread over the area of 750 sq. m., a spacious outbuilding, a basement and a parking lot for three cars. Additionally there is a compartment attached to the main building which is designed to be a summer kitchen which is an advantage.

  • Ground floor: A corridor, a room and a basement are disposed on it.
  • First floor: It consists of an entrance hall and three well-sized rooms.

The garden is well-maintained and it is planted with fruit-trees. The draw-well available there makes the watering easier which is convenient for growing fruit and vegetables there. Also there is a small veranda from where you can enjoy the view towards the village and the mountain.

The property is supplied with running water (inside and outside the house), electricity and it is connected to a main sewer. The house is structurally sound and needs refreshment of the walls, making of internal bathroom/WC and finishing of the summer kitchen. It will benefit some refreshment and renovations. In order to have even more space you can turn the outbuilding into a liveable place. The road leading to the property is an asphalt one and accessible throughout the whole year.

The surrounding area is very peaceful and beautiful and there is an interesting amenity nearby- fishing and hunting complex called “The Fortieth Springs”. The village is well developed and offers the most needed facilities for wife. Having a property like this will give you the chance to enjoy the rural wife or to have holidays in a nice area.

Bratsigovo

Bratsigovo

The village is situated in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in the Foothills of the Rodope Mountains on the banks of the Umishka River, and is close to the towns of Peshtera and Krichim. Historical records show the township was established at some point in the 16th century, built over the ruins of an earlier settlement. Archaeological evidence has shown that the area was inhabited by Thracians and later Slavs. The town is developing as a balneological center, too. There is a cold mineral water spring (18-26 C) with the flow rate of 120 litres per minute at the distance of 500 metres west of it. There is a balneo-sanatorium built up here. The mineral water treats some skin diseases, the nervous system, kidney related diseases and others. There is a nice park and a country-houses zone around it.

The Antique Teatre in Plovdiv

The Antique Teatre in Plovdiv

The Antique Theatre is one of the most famous monuments in Bulgaria. It was built in the beginning of the 2nd century during the reign of the Roman Emperor Trajan. It is situated in the natural saddle between the Dzhambaz Tepe and Taksim Tepe hills. It is divided into two parts with 14 rows each divided with a horizontal lane. The theatre could accommodate 3,500 people. The three-storey scene is located on the southern part and is decorated with frezes, cornices and statues. The theatre was studied, conserved and restored between 1968 and 1984. Many events are still held on the scene including the Verdi festival and the International Folklore festival.

The old town in Plovdiv

The old town in Plovdiv

Currently, Plovdiv is a modern city with an ancient spirit and charm, emanating from its numerous remains of old times. No doubt the biggest sight of Plovdiv is The Old Town. The Old Town is declared an archaeological reserve and covers the three-hill area where the town was located originally. Almost all historical sights of Plovdiv can be found there – religious sanctuaries, old residential and public buildings, archeological monuments and museums, fortress walls and narrow cobbled streets.
