Agent's Description

We are delighted to present to you our new offer which is a nice house beautifully disposed in the skirts of the Rodopa Mountain. The village in which the 2-storied house is located is at the distance of 10 km from the busy highway connecting Sofia with Bourgas.

Also the town of Plovdiv, which is famous for its cultural heritage and history is situated 58 km away from the village; the nearest town in the region is located only 15 km away from it.

The property includes: a house with the total living area of 120 sq. m. distributed between its two floors, a garden spreading over the area of 780 sq. m., an outbuilding made of stone attached to the house, a barn for drying hay, two other compartments attached to the house (there is a bathroom/WC in the first one and a toilet in the other one) and a parking lot for two cars. Ground floor: It comprises of a corridor, a kitchen and two other rooms. An outer staircase is leading to the next floor. First floor: Two bedrooms and a corridor are nicely arranged on the floor area. The garden is well-sized and it is planted with fruit- trees.

The house is in a good condition (structurally sound and stable); what is needed to be done on it is refreshment of the rooms and inner bathroom/WC. The package of the furniture is included in the price. The property is supplied with running water (in) and electricity; it is connected to the main sewer. There is no telephone landline available at the moment but it is easy to install such.

The road leading to the property is an asphalt one. The village itself offers local shops, a cafe, a church, a health service and regular bus transport to the towns nearby. The surrounding area is suitable for fishing, hunting and for sightseeing: there is a Thracian sanctuary nearby the village which was excavated in 2004.

Bratsigovo

Bratsigovo

The village is situated in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in the Foothills of the Rodope Mountains on the banks of the Umishka River, and is close to the towns of Peshtera and Krichim. Historical records show the township was established at some point in the 16th century, built over the ruins of an earlier settlement. Archaeological evidence has shown that the area was inhabited by Thracians and later Slavs. The town is developing as a balneological center, too. There is a cold mineral water spring (18-26 C) with the flow rate of 120 litres per minute at the distance of 500 metres west of it. There is a balneo-sanatorium built up here. The mineral water treats some skin diseases, the nervous system, kidney related diseases and others. There is a nice park and a country-houses zone around it.

The Antique Teatre in Plovdiv

The Antique Teatre in Plovdiv

The Antique Theatre is one of the most famous monuments in Bulgaria. It was built in the beginning of the 2nd century during the reign of the Roman Emperor Trajan. It is situated in the natural saddle between the Dzhambaz Tepe and Taksim Tepe hills. It is divided into two parts with 14 rows each divided with a horizontal lane. The theatre could accommodate 3,500 people. The three-storey scene is located on the southern part and is decorated with frezes, cornices and statues. The theatre was studied, conserved and restored between 1968 and 1984. Many events are still held on the scene including the Verdi festival and the International Folklore festival.

The old town in Plovdiv

The old town in Plovdiv

Currently, Plovdiv is a modern city with an ancient spirit and charm, emanating from its numerous remains of old times. No doubt the biggest sight of Plovdiv is The Old Town. The Old Town is declared an archaeological reserve and covers the three-hill area where the town was located originally. Almost all historical sights of Plovdiv can be found there – religious sanctuaries, old residential and public buildings, archeological monuments and museums, fortress walls and narrow cobbled streets.
